Research shows that online (telehealth) therapy is effective and can produce outcomes comparable to in-person care for concerns like anxiety and depression (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35007437/).
Studies also show that clients can make meaningful progress with well-supervised therapists-in-training, with outcomes comparable to more experienced clinicians when proper supervision and evidence-based methods are used (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22035990/).
